Today’s radio show: New Year resolutions for your business

New Year, new goals? Today’s episode of Business Live, my weekly radio show and the first of 2015, focused on strategies to define and achieve your goals in business in 2015.

The show, broadcast on 93.2FM and livestreamed from www.sheffieldlive.org, coincided with (and featured news about) today’s #MicroBizMattersDay.

Studio guest Peter Loadman, an experienced coach and consultant, discussed methods for business owners, leaders and managers to assess their successes and failures, strengths and weaknesses, and then how to take appropriate action. Peter covered effective goal setting, and clarifying your vision, mission, values and goals. We also discussed how to choose a coach, consultant or mentor and the best advice Peter’s ever received in his career.

Joada Allen-Booth, director of VisualisedIt then joined me for an interview over the telephone. Joada’s business has gone from strength to strength recently and she’s also just been given an accolade by her local MP for the work she is doing to provide opportunities, training and mentoring to young people. It was clear in the conversation that Joada has embedded many of the values and strategies we’d discussed in the first part of the programme into her business.

You can listen to the podcast of today’s show here. Running order: news – 0-5 mins; Peter Loadman interview – 5-33 mins; Joada Allen-Booth interview – 33:20 mins to end; I’ve removed the music tracks we played in the live show from the podcast.
