Interviews: Peter Jones Enterprise Academy; running a charity

We should have asked her to wave a magic wand! Jill White, a business consultant and enterprise mentor for Sheffield Hallam University and the Sheffield College / Peter Jones Enterprise Academy, and well known in the city as a ‘fairy godmother’ to numerous young people starting businesses, joined me in the Sheffield Live radio studio this week.

Kosmas Eleftheriou, who recently scooped national acclaim as the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy Level 2 Student of the Year, popped in with Jill to talk about his business dreams.

The show also featured Mark Storey, chief executive of the charity known locally as “S and 4Cs” – Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care, which supports isolated elderly people. Mark gave an insight into the charity’s work and 50-year history: there’s plenty to learn from Mark about sustainability, resilience, developing partnerships and overcoming challenges.
